Thekey is Oxford Bus Company's smartcard - the smarter way to travel.
Brookes students and staff can buy a special Brookeskey giving real savings on travel, including discounts on other Oxford Bus Company services*
There are two types of Brookeskey
1. The multi-trip Brookeskey
The multi-trip key allows you to buy a number of journeys on Brookesbuses - from 12, up to 36 at a time, for a flat fare of just £1 per journey.
Once you have your key you can:
- Top up your key on-line - in the comfort of your own home.
- Top up in person at our Travel Shop in Debenhams; or at any PayPoint outlet.
- Choose how much you want to top up.
- No need to carry cash - just swipe your key and go.
2. The time-based Brookeskey.
You can buy an annual pass for just £185.
This pass will run to 18/9/10 and gives you unlimited travel on BrookesBus services **, and great discounts on other Oxford Bus Company services.
Buy a Semester Pass for just £115.
This pass will run from 25/1/10 to 22/5/10 and gives you the same benefits as the annual pass.
These time-based Brookeskeys entitle you to discounted travel on other Oxford Bus Company buses and coaches, including the airport and London services.
Single journey anywhere within Zones A, B, and D - £1.00
Single Journey on NU services - £1.00
Single journey anywhere within Zones A, B, C and D - £1.50
X90 London period return - £10.00
X70 Heathrow period return - £20.00
X80 Gatwick period return - £28.00
* applies to time-based key only
