How long are products valid for?
Time-based and Any 5-day products
Time-based (period pass) products, and Any 5-day products, must be used within 6 months of purchase. Annual passes will of course expire 1 year from the date you choose as the start date.
Multi-trip products
This depends on the type of multi-trip product you have purchased.
SmartZone and 'cityzone & South Oxfordshire Zone' multi-trip products are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
The airline, park&ride, cityzone (not inclusive of South Oxfordshire Zone) and South Oxfordshire Zone (not inclusive of cityzone) multi-trip products are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Please note that all top ups must be collected (by placing your card on an Oxford Bus Company bus reader) within 2 months of purchase. After this time it may not be available to collect on the bus reader and you would need to contact us to have it re-actioned. Your expiry date will still run for 6 or 12 months from the date of purchase rather than collection.
